The Migration is Beautiful website is an initiative of the Iowa Women’s Archives at the University of Iowa Libraries, created under the supervision of Janet Weaver, Assistant Curator, IWA.

We especially acknowledge the Iowa League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and the many individuals and families who collaborated in the development of this website and granted permission to digitize their historical documents in order to increase awareness of Iowa’s rich Latina history.
